You may choose to submit this work for extra points:
1. Find photos of historic events that are of good quality (high resolution) and striking (in message, composition, etc.). Submit 3-5 of these.
2. Briefly give the details of each photo:
- title of photo or the title you give it; source and if possible name of photographer
- briefly tell the story of the photo (the historical context of it, why this picture shows a ”historic event”)
- briefly discuss how this photo might be used for future World History lessons.
3. The grade will be based on the quality of the photo, visual impact, data accuracy, and its usefulness to the study of World History (so pick pictures that are World History relevant)
4. Please submit all via email. Attach these photos (preferably JPEG files) to your email and name them PHOTO1, PHOTO2, so on. The explanations and details of the photo should be done as word document also attached in the email. The word document no longer has to contain the pictures. It only has to contain the explanations and other details in the ff. format:
Photo1: Title, Source. Explanation of context. Why historical. How to be used in World History Class… so on.
5. Deadline for submission is Sunday, March 15, 12 noon. I will no longer consider submissions after this.
